Dental care plays a vital role in overall health and well-being. Dentistry is the medical specialty that is responsible for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of oral diseases. This profession allows us to contribute to the improvement of oral health as part of people's general health and self-esteem.

The objective of the Degree in Dentistry at the University of Zaragoza, which is taught at the Faculty of Health and Sports Sciences, is to train a professional with adequate knowledge, skills, attitudes and competencies, who is qualified to serve society through the satisfaction of your health demands in dental fields, both in its prevention, diagnosis and treatment aspects, in an ethical way and with efficiency, effectiveness and safety.

Royal Decree 1027/2011, of July 15, establishes the Spanish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education, being structured into four levels to which the different teachings are assigned depending on their demands and learning results. (level 1: Higher Technician; level 2: Degree; level 3: Master; level 4: Doctor). The Council of Universities, at its meeting on February 23, 2015, agreed to assign the official title of “Graduate in Dentistry by the University” to level 3 (MASTER) of the Spanish qualifications framework for higher education from Zaragoza”
